I hope that your week is going well so far!
I think that instead of new years’ resolutions, we should rather talk about new years’ ideas.
I of course don’t believe in new years’ resolutions. This week I heard Glennon Doyle say that the new year new you idea almost sounds like the version of us isn’t right as it is. I quite agree that it does sound like we don’t already love ourselves!
Why wouldn’t we love ourselves?! We have achieved so much in 2021 already!
I don’t like new years’ resolutions because I think you can take them whenever you want.
I take a lot of resolutions. I am so lucky I don’t have to wait until the new year to take them.
BUT taking a break before the end of the year does bring a new energy and what I think it brings too, is ideas. New ideas.
It comes from having a break of course.
We spend time far away from our desks, and with family, more than usual.
It gives another point of view on our business.
My own new year idea is that I want to offer little digital tools which are easy to understand and digest, and which you can purchase, once a week with a big discount, to help you increase your sales.
You won’t need to be a member of the Artist Entrepreneur Club to purchase them.
But, by being a member of the club though, you will either have access to it for free, or with a bigger discount.
My ideas, for now, are a digital planner which you can download or print out, specially made for artists who want to sell art online, or again, a recorded version of my group programme Artists Excel at Finding Clients! I am also thinking about sharing the Trello board which I have created to plan my own posts on social media.
What do you think about my new year’s idea?
Do you have a new year idea?
Let me know in the comments!
