Yesterday on Instagram, I shared what you should NOT do when a new potential buyer starts following you on social media.

So I thought I would share my real tips now!

🎉 Don't be a stranger

Don’t hide when someone starts following you!
Go ahead, send them a welcome message, explain what you’re doing and let them know that they can contact you by private message anytime.

🎉 Give them a next action if they answer

Some of them won’t answer this message. Don’t worry, this is totally normal. They still see your message. Some of them will answer thank you. When they do, invite them to take a next action like signing up for your newsletter or to look at your latest reel.

🎉 Don't be a stranger 2.0!

Once they start following you, keep interacting with their posts so they can see that you pay attention to them. If you give engagement, they will give engagement back.
